The Packer organization needs to wake up fast!! We all know the window of opportunity to win is so, so small, you do not turn it away when it comes knocking. Nothing against Rodgers(other than appears to be injury prone), but to get to the Super Bowl, we need experience under extreme pressure. Brett gives us that. Who knows how long we'll have a quality, diverse offense like we do.
Free agency will eventually chew away at the team and we'll all be talking about rebuilding years again. In this league, you play to win now. If Thompson and McCarthy blow this chance, come December, Packer fans will be screaming for their retirement... mark my words!!

Brett made his decision and now he sould be made to live with it. What kind of message are we sending to the young people that may look up to him as an idol or mentor? That if you don't like the decision you made and things are not going your way, you create choas to get your way. This whole situation should not even be happening. I dont believe anyone pressured him to make the decision and if they do let him come backhe certainly should not be a starter. He should be second to Aaron Rodgers.

It's unfortunate that more was not televised of the Greta Van Susteren interview with regard to the inexcusable manner in which Thompson advised Brett that he has dismantling Brett's locker and shipping it to him. Also more clarification as Brett explained the "chartered" cancelled flight. If I am understanding Greta's comments after the interview correctly (and I believe I am), Thompson and McCarthy were already down in the Orlando area for an owners or management meeting and the trip to Mississippi would have been a side trip. That never happened. And the only conversation that resulted was regarding the locker. Give me a break! What other player's locker has ever been dismantled and shipped to them? This locker belongs either in the locker room or the Packer Hall of Fame. Both Brett and Deanna were surprised, probably shocked, at this stupid decision by Thompson. How much worse can they treat Brett? Let's get all the story out, not just half stories as Brett indicated.

I agree, how can you belittle a man more than taking apart his locker and sending it to him. That takes the cake TT, one more slap in Bretts face. Thompson and McCarthy have now sealed their fate with this franchise, they can't win no matter what they do. Brett is a Football Legend, you don't treat legends this way, I wonder how they would treat the veterans coming back home???

Not to mention how quickly they were going to retire his number 4 jersey. Not even 1 year after his announcement. I believe they forced him out. I will cheer for Brett wherever he may go. I am a Brett Favre fan. Nobody, Ted Thompson...none of them can take that away from any of us!
