Government Rebate Check Money Trail

1. The Feds send every tax payer a $600 rebate.
2. Taxpayers purchase merchandise made in China.
3. Taxpayers purchase gas from the Arabs.
4. Taxpayers purchase fruit and vegetables from Mexico, Honduras.
5. Taxpayers purchase cars from Japan. 

 
What part of the $600 actually stimulates the American Economy?

Amen, you hit that nail on the head.

I am just amazed at how many people think this rebate is going to help them get ahead. $600 is nothing today, maybe 3 tanks of gas if you're lucky.

I agree with you, people need to stop spending money on other countries. Until Americans can do that other countries will dictate they way we live. If you don''t beleive that just take a look at the gas pump next time you fill up, if you can afford to fill up. I look at them in disbelief every day on my way to work, when I'm riding my bike and I don't mean motorcycle.

We complain but we still buy. Don't just complain, do something about it.

great job on the posting of this blog. the money from the government should go toward buying things in this country to stimulate our economy.

well not everyone got that $600.00 I am self employed and made a whopping $20,000 last year and I only got $200.00 Oh what will I do with all that money!! what a joke the whole stimulates package'
my retired father got nothing who is living on SS cause he was self employed'' all that did was to help other counties and to try to make Bush look good' what a joke and a bad one at that' Its time for a big change in this country' Another mad American'

I bet all you 'mad Americans' are Democrats? Seems to me, while you sit here and bash the money you did get, I will bet you that you plan on voting for Barack Hussein Obama, who mind you 'mad Americans' is proposing the same type of stimulus check for us. The only real difference is that Bush used money that was pid in taxes and returned it to Americans, and Mr. Barack Hussein Obama is palnning on pillaging and raping the oil companies to give you money back. But when its Democrat doing that, I suppose ts ok right? What hypocrites. Hopefully we still have some slightly educated Americans who see the truth and not blindly follow the 'mainstream medias' lead.
