My wife one uped me tonight. We were discussing the whole Wealth Redistribution or Spreading the Wealth around thing....and she told me that this happend before. I thought she ment that the tax code was written so that is what is happening anyway..and she said ..nope...I said..the New Deal? She said No.....
Well I finally figured it out...but was wondering if any of you have thought of this....
Give me your best Guess.....it is a perfect example of redistribution and how you can't trust the word of some of those in the Federal Gov....no not Stalin or anything like that...
Any Guesses?? I'll check back tomorrow night and then Give the answer on a New Blog if no one has Gotten it yet....

Hahaha..Sorry I shouldn't laugh. Because I was wrong on something that I Blogged earlier. I had a theory (conspiracy type) that Obama would lose because the Clintons would make sure he lost so Hillary would run in 4 years. But I was wrong....
It looks like the Clintons are going to have their cake and eat it too(only Bill would know how to do that).... They Got Biden to be Vice-Pres (especially since he was talking down Obama and Talking up Hillary through the whole election. I always thought that was weird.) Now they get to have Obama "Pick" Clinton's old Advisors..hahahaha...Sorry that is hilarious. How is this Change? Wait...let me answer my own question...He's a Dem....ok that is change, I'll give you that. Some would say that Obama is going to try to recreate the Clinton years...Well the BBC says that anyway..

The money trail behind the ever-changing bailout plan is getting tough to follow. Especially when so many decisions are being made behind closed doors. Sharyl Attkisson reports. |
(CBS) It's all right there in black and white in the text of the bailout bill passed last month, yet the public may feel like victims of a bait and switch.
The original idea: Spend $700 billion in tax dollars to buy troubled mortgage-related assets from struggling banks.
But the actual bailout calls for nothing of the sort. Instead, your tax dollars are buying massive shares in some of the nation's biggest and most successful banks - with virtually no strings attached. And that's all allowed under Congress' plan, CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson reports.
And to listen to government officials, you'd have thought all those billions were among the most carefully-tracked pool of tax dollars ever.
"We put in place tremendous regulatory oversight so that there will be absolute transparency," said Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H., on Oct. 1.
Yet ask the most basic question - how exactly are the banks using your money - and the answer can't be found.
So, CBS News decided to ask the banks what they're doing with the money. We talked to the nine biggest recipients, who pointed out there's nothing in the bailout law that requires them to disclose specifics.
CBS News does know from public information that at least four of the banks are using bailout funds to merge with or take over other banks.
Bank officials told Attkisson that taxpayers will have to trust that the money will be used wisely.
Congress does have the power to hold back the second half of the $700 billion if it thinks the first half isn't working out.
But as one bank official put it: If anyone thought for a minute that every penny was somehow going to be tracked, they're going to be sorely disappointed.

Ok Folks, here is My 2 Cents.....
As we all know tension is High right now.... When isn't it... We have had alot of calls for unity, getting behind the new President, stop the negative stuff..etc..etc..
Well here is the Problem.....it suppsoed to be this way...it's called Checks and Balances..
No One is calling for anything bad...we all respect the Office of President as Laid out by the Constitution. The President is apart of the Checks and Balances as is Congress and the Judiciary. The system is Brilliant.....if Ran Properly.
The Party System in this Country was Condemed by some of the Founders as A bad Idea. To associate one's self with any One Party tends to turn off people's Brains and Forces them to Choose party..over Country. Which is bad for all of us.... I tend to agree ...
But the Main Check of the Government was ALWAYS to be the People. The Politicians always knew they had to answer to the People eventually, take that away and WE the People lose our Power.
So If we all Just Get along, we are not doing our Jobs as Americans. No Matter who is President there will be those that love him/her and those that hate him/her....it has been this way since the founding of the country and it is not going away.
It shoud be encouraged....since those that oppose seem to be more Critical than those that don't. The People or Party not in power were ment to keep those in power in Line by Critizing and Paying attention to everything they do or don't do...and then use the Right to Free Speech and Yell to all that would listen........
Having said this, It is always the Hope that those that are taking their turns as "watchdog" would Hopefully be Fair and Honest. But again, history of Politics has shown this to not be the Case.
But as Bloggers, hopefully honest, reputable Bloggers we can do our Due dillagence to investigate and criticize in the most Honest and Careful manner. So as to Present Facts for all to Digest and either Prove or Disprove.....Not Just to be Called Liar, or Racist, or Meathead...or ..well you get the idea.
Emotion is hard to remove when making decisions and Blogs. Especially when Fear is Rampant and there are Questions in the Minds of Many. But we Must try...
All that I ask for is a fair shake. I am not perfect and everything I Blog may not be totally accurate. If so, please inform me of my errrors with Proof and Source So I can Correct my Mistake and Apologize accordingly.
But Please for the Sake of Freedom Stop the encouragment of the Exodus of those we dislike from the Country, or the Silencing of those that we disagree with....and the Blocking of Accounts for No Reason.
Lets Excersize Our Rights and have Open and Honest debates while we all Do Our civic Duty...and be the Checks and Balances we were ment to be.....

Of Course now the Car makers are asking for a Bailout, Insurance Companies, Banks, Even Businesses that aren't going to fail are asking for Money, OUR Money..
This Has Got to Stop....
The Snowball is rolling already. We Stopped Buying. Business's Incomes have Shrunk. The Layoffs have begun........there will be more in the Future.....
Tax revenue has shrunk due to our lack of purchasing....
The Money is Running Out fast....
And all of our Great and All knowing Politicians in Washington can do is SPEND....
They are talking about a new "Stimulus Package".....WE CAN'T AFFORD IT..!
We are Heading for an Economic Nightmare...Bigger than the one now...
There is only one Cure.......
Stop Spending, Cut Governemnt Programs, and let Business's Fail.....
Anything Less......and we are just Burying Ourselves....and extending the Misery...
Proping up Failure.....only leads to more Failure....and No One Learns anything....other than the Government will bail me out....

Why are we now a Country that you can not hang anyone in effigy without the Secret Service showing up at the Door. You can't compare a Politician to a Tyrant without having it removed from a Blog. But You can carry a Communsit Flag or Spew Socialist Montra even Burn the American Flag and it's called Freedom....Fine..
I have no Problem with Freedom of Speech, especially if it's speech I hate. That is what it was ment to protect. Freedom to Speak YOUR mind..... It was to keep the Public Informed about those that Rule over them. If only Positive things are allowed to be said, then when will you know they are leading us down the wrong path?

I think the Super Long Election Cycle...sucks.
Every Presidetial Canidate should have a pre made resume, with Birth Cretificates, work Histroy and verified list of Friends, co-workers, blah, blah, blah...... including their past voting record (if they held office) and other qualifications.
Then those resume will be sent to every house so all can see on paper what there is to choose from, not just the 2 party canidates, but all of them.
Then we apply duck tape to the Canidates and their Staff...and vote on facts...Not emotion.
Then we can shrink the Political Cycle to 2 weeks....lol
Vote for who you will..Socialism is here.... If it continues to grow and dominate our entire lives the decision is ours. Some want it..most do not....
No matter who wins, NO RIOTS... Now is not the time for Violence....
I look forward to making fun of who ever is put in office...

There are those that feel that the Founding Documents of this Great Country need to Change. That they do Not bend to the Ideals of some that wish Control over the Property, Lives, even Thoughts of others. Those people feel Their Ideals are More Imporatant, More Moral than the Ideals that so many have fought and even died for. They Feel that the Ideals of Equal Freedom and Liberty for all, from the Poorest beggar to the Wealthiest businessman, are somehow incorrect. So much so that the Concept of Out Right Government Theft from One Citizen to Give to another is being taken as a Serious and acceptable concept by a large number of these"Free" Citizens in this "Free" country.
These Citizens do not understand the Concept of Freedom, the concept that they have the Freedom to live in a Commune or Voluntarily give their property to another, but they do not have the Freedom to take someone elses Freedom, Liberty or Property just because they feel it is unfair. This form of thinking is hypocritical in the extreme. It is nothing Short of Tyranny.
What these Citizens fail to realize is that We the People that cherish Freedom and Liberty will only stand by and watch for so long. That the Concept to keep Government in Line was Forged into the Soul of the Founding Documents. That We Americans have a Tradition of not quietly going into the night, of Not rolling over, of Not just handing over our Rights....Our Freedoms or the Freedoms of others.....
Do NOT take solice in the Thought that Freedom is Forgotten.....
DO NOT take comfort in the supposed numbers of the Followers of Tyrants and Preahcers of Tyranny!!
For there is a Deeper Love, a Deeper Need that No Man, No Tyrant, NO Government can extinguish.....

When it comes to how we spend and save, borrow and lend, nothing in this nation will ever be the same.
Today's stock market shocks are adding momentum to the idea that 401(k) plans should be replaced with a more stable retirement alternative.
I can't tell you how the financial crisis will be solved, when the Dow will return to 13,000 or if home prices will recover anytime soon. But the events of the past two months make it clear our national money habits are in for big changes.
Given that reality, there's one proposal you might want to keep an eye on. A recommendation to shake up the nation's 401(k) system is gaining traction as workers and retirees gape in horror at their investment account balances.
"Four weeks ago this plan didn't have a chance," conceded its author, Teresa Ghilarducci.
Suddenly, things have changed. Ghilarducci's proposal to create what she calls Guaranteed Retirement Accounts is gaining attention in Washington as the nation grapples with the issue of retirement security in the wake of a 40-percent-plus drop in the U.S. stock market this year.
"These last three weeks people are learning their 401(k) plans can go down," said Ghilarducci, an economist at the New School for Social Research in New York.
Called to testify before Congress earlier this month, Ghilarducci's ideas are gaining wide exposure nearly a year after she published a policy paper on the subject. She followed up that paper with a book published in May, "When I'm Sixty-Four: The Plot Against Pensions and the Plan to Save Them."
Her proposal calls for knocking down the 401(k) plan system and replacing it with a government-run pension plan funded by employee contributions. Participants would be guaranteed an inflation-beating return and a lifetime stream of income.

His relationship with Sen. Barack Obama has become a major theme of the McCain campaign.
His background with a 1960's domestic terror group, the Weather Underground, has been recounted in hundreds of news articles.
His words could add to the evidence that debunks the claims Obama was "palling around with terrorists."
But Bill Ayers is staying mum, and working hard to duck reporters and the campaign spotlight in the final week before the election.
He told a journalism student attending a education justice symposium in New York Sunday he and other former radicals were being "demonized" by Fox News. "We're nice guys, right?"
Asked by the student, if he repudiated the actions of the Weather Underground, which carried out a series of 1960's robberies and bombings that killed at least six people, Ayers walked away without answering.
Ayers declined requests for an interview from ABC News, and after the appearance in New York, he used a garbage-littered freight elevator in an unsuccessful attempt to duck ABC News cameras waiting outside.

Barack Obama's campaign is firing back against criticism over a seven-year-old radio interview in which Obama discussed wealth redistribution, specifically blaming FOX News for drawing attention to the issue.
In the interview, conducted by Chicago Public Radio in 2001 while Obama was an Illinois state senator and a law professor at the University of Chicago, Obama discusses the failure of the Supreme Court to rule on redistributing wealth in its civil rights decisions. The unearthed conversations gave fresh ammunition to critics who say the Democratic presidential candidate has a socialist agenda.
But Obama spokesman Bill Burton on Monday accused FOX News of pushing a "fake news controversy" to further an agenda. Though FOX News played the audio tape for its viewers and did not just recap Republican criticism, Burton suggested FOX News was conspiring with the McCain campaign and the Drudge Report, which posted the material on its Web site.
"This is a fake news controversy drummed up by the all too common alliance of FOX News, the Drudge Report and John McCain, who apparently decided to close out his campaign with the same false, desperate attacks that have failed for months," Burton said in a written statement Monday. "In this seven-year-old interview, Senator Obama did not say that the courts should get into the business of redistributing wealth at all."
In a heated interview later on FOX News, Burton accused the channel of giving McCain advertising "for free every single day," and trying to "continually trump up these fake controversies and have folks on to talk about things that don't have anything to do with the issues that are important to the American people."
"This was indeed an issue that has been driven by the FOX News Channel," Burton said. "And so this notion that somehow FOX News has been fair on these points, it just does not hold up to the reality of sort of the coverage that it's been getting. And I think ... it is rarely so crystal clear when FOX News in and of itself is driving its own specific agenda helping John McCain frankly more than John McCain sometimes helps himself."
However, the 2001 interview evoked recent questioning by Joe "The Plumber" Wurzelbacher, the Ohio man who asked Obama about his proposal to raise taxes on people making more than $250,000. Obama told Wurzelbacher he wants to hike taxes on the wealthy so that the government can spread the wealth.
In the radio interview, Obama delved into whether the civil rights movement should have gone further than it did, so that when "dispossessed peoples" appealed to the high court on the right to sit at the lunch counter, they should have also appealed for the right to have someone else pay for the meal.
Obama said the civil rights movement was victorious in some regards, but failed to create a "redistributive change" in its appeals to the Supreme Court, led at the time by Chief Justice Earl Warren. He suggested that such change should occur at the state legislature level, since the courts did not interpret the U.S. Constitution to permit such change.
"The Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and sort of basic issues of political and economic justice in this society, and to that extent as radical as people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical," Obama said in the interview, a recording of which surfaced on the Internet over the weekend.
"It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as it has been interpreted.
"And the Warren court interpreted it generally in the same way -- that the Constitution is a document of negative liberties, says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you, but it doesn't say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf, and that hasn't shifted.
"And I think one of the tragedies of the civil rights movement was that the civil rights movement became so court-focused, I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and organizing activities on the ground that are able to bring about the coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change, and in some ways we still suffer from that," Obama said.
