The De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee is seeking nominations for the Garden of Merit Awards. 

These awards are presented annually to business and residential landscaped properties recognized for their creativity and excellence in the city.  Two businesses and two residential properties are awarded each year with a framed photo of their award winning landscaped property, during the September Common Council meeting from the Beautification Committee and City of De Pere Mayor Walsh..  Yard signs distinguishing each award recipient(s) will also be on display on their property for a limited time.

Originality, along with individual expressions of natural landscapes punctuated by color texture and live plantings will be considered by the judges.  Professional designed and/or planted, silks, plastics and man made materials will not be considered. 

Photos are encouraged to be included with the nomination forms.
