I believed. And hoped the REAL fans of the Packers would give him a chance. And it sounds like they did. Very classy of them.

You are so very right. Brett fans have to remember that he wasn't great right away either. Football players get traded all the time. Nobody makes a big deal about them do they. They need to look back in history. People can always run somebody else's business but they can't let anybody tell them how to run theirs. The Packers will be alright. I wonder how many people will jump back on the bandwagon when Aaron Rodgers makes the eat there words and wins!

I am going to add here that Drew does work for a station who claims they are "fair and unbiased" I wonder how badly he enjoys his job? Comments from the community does hold somewhat of a bearing on that. I think it truly terrible that someone of Drew's nature would stoop to the level that some of us have under such a horrible experience, but then again , we are all human.
To "end the game...." Thank you for stating what I have been fighting for all along. Being a Packer used to mean something wholesome and the history of not just how the Packers came to be but the love the team and fans shared is something special. I see new management jeopardizing that very legend. After all, it was management that caused the division between the fans.

Jets QB Favre says arm 'fatigued' at practice

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) - Brett Favre dropped back, looked downfield and launched a long spiral about 5 yards past his intended receiver. A few plays later, the Jets quarterback short-hopped a toss that thumped into the grass. "I felt 38 today," Favre said Wednesday after New York's morning practice. "I'm not going to lie to you."

Favre fired a few duds in his fifth practice since joining the Jets, saying his rocket right arm is a bit tired.

"My arm's kind of dragging a little bit today," Favre said. "It's not really sore, but just fatigued. To be honest with you, I'm surprised that, I don't want to say I feel good, that I've been able to make it through every practice so far."

Favre was acquired from the Green Bay Packers late last Wednesday night, and has been practicing with the Jets since Saturday. He's set to start Saturday's preseason game against the Washington Redskins.

"I didn't throw the ball that well this morning, underthrew some throws," Favre said. "No pain, but I'm 38 years old. It's going to be fatigued a little bit."

Favre said he would talk to coach Eric Mangini about limiting his throws in the afternoon practice. Mangini hadn't spoken to Favre when he met with reporters following the early workout.

"We only have two practices left before the game and we do monitor that stuff," Mangini said. "You guys talked to him more than I did, so I don't really know where he is with that."

I thought he was ready to play football. I still believe the Jets made a mistake they'll never forget. The Packers made the right decision.

It's fine that you support Rodgers as do I, but were do you get the enjoyment of Favre saying he feels 38 and his arm is fatigued??? Favre did alot of good things for GB and everyone should be thankfull for that. This whole thing was not a competition or a war between Favre and Rodgers, I think people need to realize that. Favre just wanted to play ball because he loves the game. I think it would have really tarnished Favre's name if he would have accepted that 20 million to stay retired and do endorsements because then it would have been for the money. This whole thing is settled and people need to move on. Best of luck to Rodgers and Favre in the 08'-09' season.
