I was reading a statement from Mike McCarthy yesterday that really made me angry. It said something like I hope me and Ted dont get labled as the two that chased Favre out of G.B. He hopes he doesnt get that lable but thats exactly what they did. When you ask a legend quarterback not to show up to training camp and try to make him offers of sums of money not to play, its all insults. The arrogant, ingnorant packers management just chased a legend out of our town and state. I think its time to chase Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy out of the packers.

Let the competition begin.....from what the buzz has been around here its looking like Favre is gonna be given the chance to compete for the starting position. Favre and McCarthy were set to talk today and McCarthy is suppose to be doin a press conference tonight on the plans for Favre. I just hope this isn't a big stunt to get Favre in GB to calm the fans down and then to start talking trades. I think the best thing right now would be a little competition in the camp. This competition will light a fire both under Favre and Rodgers to out perform eachother which in hand should strengthen the team. Hopefully it doesnt spark fights or seperation between Favre supporters and Rodger supporters. I think we will find out a lot more at this press conference tonight. I dont know about anybody else but im getting pretty fired up about the 2008 season now.

I think this whole thing is such a mess. Packers won't play Favre or let him come to camp, yet there to scared to let him go to somebody (ie. the Vikings) because they know he is a great QB that will help out there team. The Packers management are a bunch of cowards, good ole Teddy let us know this last week with the whole getting fired comment. Either give him a chance or grow a pair and let him help out some other team. I dont know if everyone else has forgoten the first half of last season when we were running 5 wide with no running back every down because we didnt have a running game and we put the fate of the team on Favre's shoulders and he produced, well I didn't. At the vary least give him a chance to compete for the starting position, the team owes it to him, management owes it to him, and the fans owe it to him.
